Our inn is located in the range of Los Ancares in León (which were declared as biosphere reserve in 2006), at the river „Burbia“, only 11 km from „Villafranca del Bierzo“
Due to this conveniant location it is an excellent starting point for visiting such idyllic towns as Ponferrada and Villafranca, which offer lots of sights, as the Way of St. James leads directly through them. Besides, a visit to the former roman gold mine „las medulas“ is highly recomended, it was the most important gold mine of the entire roman empire.
But you can also enjoy the lush natural landscape, with its countless hiking trails and traditional architecture.
It is a place in which you can establish a close relationship with nature. For the pilgrims of the Way of St. James we offer a shuttle service, that will take you to our house.
